Cultiva case study: SEO, website and AI video ads

Local, seasonal, creative.

This Cultiva case study shows the work I did for a plant and gardening business in Nicaragua. The project combined a website with SEO content and schema markup and a set of AI-made video ads for the Christmas season. Below you can read what was made and what I took from it. I am Jorsi Rodríguez, SEO consultant, and I did this work myself.

The client

Cultiva is a plant and gardening business in Nicaragua. It offers plants, planters and gardening services.

What I made in this Cultiva case study

The work covered a website and three ads. Each piece is described below.

Website with SEO content and schema

I built the website with SEO content and schema markup. Schema is structured data that labels a business, its services and its pages so search engines can read them clearly. For the general approach, see my small business web design in the United States service.

Planter reel made to order

A short reel showed planters made to order for the Christmas season. The reel was made with AI, the same approach behind my AI video ads in the United States service.

Christmas gardening-service ad

A second ad promoted the gardening service for Christmas. It was also made with AI.

Pot painting and planting campaign

A third campaign showed painting and planting pots as a keepsake. It was also made with AI.

The result

This page describes the work, not performance numbers, because none are part of this case study. The deliverables are the website with SEO content and schema, the planter reel, the Christmas gardening ad and the pot painting and planting campaign.

The ads were made with AI. I describe the process in general terms and do not name the tools.

What I took from it

Seasonal ads work best when the page they point to already explains the offer.

I do not promise results from a single campaign.

Frequently asked questions

What did the Cultiva work include, and what would change its cost?

The Cultiva work covered a website with SEO content and schema and a set of AI video ads for the holiday season. For a project like this, cost depends on the number of pages and ads, and the proposal defines the scope before work starts. Changes to the number of pieces are the main factor.

Who is a project like this best for?

A project like Cultiva's fits a local business with a seasonal product or service and a clear area where its customers live. It works well when the owner wants a website and ads that support the same offer. It is less useful for a business that only wants one post with no follow-up.

How long does a seasonal project like this take to finish?

It depends on the season, the number of pieces and how quickly the materials arrive. Seasonal work has a deadline, so I plan the schedule backward from the holiday date. The proposal sets the timing, and I do not promise a fixed number of days.

How can I tell if a seasonal website and ad campaign are working?

I measure the campaign against the goals written in the proposal, such as calls, visits or orders. For the website, I check if the pages match what people search for. Then I adjust the ads and pages based on what the measurements show.

What do I need to have ready before a holiday campaign starts?

Have the season dates, the products or services you want to promote and your current website if you have one. Photos of your products help, and a short list of what your customers value most saves time. I confirm the remaining details in the first conversation, so you do not need a finished brief.

When are AI-made video ads the wrong choice for a local business?

They are the wrong choice when the product must be shown in person, such as a tasting or a service that needs real people on camera. They also fit poorly when the brand depends on a personal voice that only the owner can record. In those cases, I recommend a different format.

How does schema help a plant or gardening website?

Schema is structured data that labels the business, its services and its pages in a format search engines read easily. For a plant or gardening business, it can make the offer clearer than plain text alone. Schema supports good content but does not replace it, so I write the pages first.
